St. Bride’s is much more than a community centre. The flexible spaces within can accommodate a vast range of activities, including commercial and business activity.
Functions & Events
The numerous facilities at the St. Bride’s Centre create a venue that can be used for a wide variety of events. We can put the essential components of an event together for you. Our IT infrastructure, lighting and PA systems as well as a range of seating layouts, can create an unrivalled ambience at an affordable cost. We can also provide a bar facility by request.
The bright Café area and Main Hall can be transformed into a unique wedding venue as competently as providing for a celebratory event or party.

Conferences & Meetings
Looking for a meeting or conference venue? At the St Bride’s Centre we have a suite of modern, flexible-sized rooms suitable for meetings, training events and small conferences. WIFI is available throughout and equipment is available to hire, including a projector, lighting and sound.
Our associated café operation can also meet the needs of your delegates by providing refreshments, snacks or light lunches.

‘The Hall’ at 141m² is our most flexible space and can accommodate training events, activity programmes, group meetings and larger events. There are several layout options with opportunity to partition the space for ‘half hall’ rental. Bookings can also be made for the Hall to expand into the cafe area. Capacity within the Main Hall is 90 for a catered function and 120 concert style.
‘The Studio’ occupies a space at the rear of the building and can be used flexibly for dance, events, group meetings etc. Capacity is up to 40 people in a variety of layouts. A more intimate space than ‘The Hall.’
‘The Board Room’ seats 12 comfortably. It is a particularly bright space perfect for business meetings. Equipment hire can also be arranged.
Our associated cafe operation is able to cater for meetings or groups, providing refreshments, snacks or lunches.
The Centre is fully wi-fi enabled throughout.

A constituted group or organisation with a membership drawn from the local area.
A business or service providing educational or health/wellbeing benefits to local population.
- **Band B
A business or service delivering activity from the Centre from which private/personal income is derived.
A business or service, including registered charities with three or more FTE equivalent staff, delivering free services from the Centre.
- Private Events
All private events will be quoted a price on application specific to the requirements of that event.
A 50% discount on room hire is applicable for all private events that opt to have bar facilities provided by DSBCG.
The Café is located in our light and airy foyer space in the heart of the Centre. Sponsored by South Lanarkshire Social Work Resources, the facility is rented as a training facility through the ‘Coalyard’ initiative to provide work experience and accredited training for adults with additional support needs. As well as providing catering to Centre customers, the staff will happily provide you with a competitive quote for larger events.

The Centre boasts a range of equipment that can be booked or hired by request. These include a projector, laptops, a moveable stage, round and rectangular tables, tablecloths and crockery.
