Hello.

Hello and welcome to the St. Bride’s Centre.

Nestled in the heart of the Douglas Valley, the community-owned St. Bride’s Centre is the perfect venue for your own event or as an ideal place to take part in numerous activities.

A centre for the whole community.

At St. Bride’s we aim to offer a high-quality service and the warmest of welcomes. In 2012 a £1.2 million investment project transformed the former school into a vital community asset. The Centre is now a fabulous resource boasting flexible, contemporary spaces designed to meet the 21st century requirements of our customers.

Classes & Activities.

Every night of the week the St. Bride’s Centre is busy with classes and activities from Rainbows & Brownies, Cubs & Beavers, Taek-wondo and Vibes Dance. There are day time activities too, so take a look at our What’s On for details of all regular classes and events.

Gym facilities.

Central to the St. Bride’s Centre is our gym. Open Monday to Friday, the facility offers a range of high quality equipment for use by anyone over the age of 16. Visit the Gym page for all the information you will need to join the gym.

The best venue in town.

The St. Bride’s Centre is also a fantastic venue for events. Whether you’re looking for flexible business space, a venue for corporate or social events, hosting a celebratory party, a place for a community meeting or even a fabulous setting for a civil ceremony or wedding reception, we’re confident that whatever your needs, at St. Bride’s we can fulfil your requirements. Take a look at our Venue Hire for room availability and costs. Please call our reception on 01555 850019 to make a booking.

Second Glance Charity Shop.

The St Bride’s Centre also owns the Second Glance charity shop at 11 Main Street in Douglas. Run by a team of valued volunteers, the shop not only provides a resource for the local community, but also earns a sustainable income for the St. Bride’s Centre.
